Our Rent-a-Native-Speaker Program caters to our customers’ need to practice and improve their conversation skills outside the classroom through direct contact with native speakers in a leisurely, informal setting. We assign you to a customer on a set day and time, whenever there is a request for a conversation practice session; it is up to the customer and you to work out the details in terms of where you meet, e.g. over a cup of coffee, a walk in the park or similar. The purpose is to provide an intensive enough contact with the target language and culture, yet in a laid-back, informal way – much in the way you do it when meeting up with friends. Your profile:
- Native speaker ( English, Spanish, French, Italian, as well as any rare languages)
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to steer and keep a conversation going as well as adapt to the customer’s particular conversation practice needs
- Teaching qualifications and/or experience preferred but not required.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- Ability to work creatively and independently, as well as in a team when need.
